Dear Fellow MVS Parents,
Did you make any New Year’s resolutions? Have you stuck to them? Whether you have been successful or not, the Community Partnership has some resolutions that we know will make 2013 a banner year!
- Be sure to fully read the Weekly Bulletin–expect more information and fewer emails!
- Participate in the parent sessions with the Head of School candidiates during the next two weeks.
- Attend Wine on Wednesday on February 13 at 7:00 p.m. It will be an extremely informative event.
- Turn in address information for your child’s grandparents so they will be invited to Grandparents Day on Friday, May 2. Invitations are mailed in March. Contact Anne Dettmer at anne.dettmer@mvschool.com to make sure addresses are correct.
- Check out the amazing auction items at www.mvschool.com/auction.
- Attend the middle school play, Drama Queens Gone Wild, on Friday or Saturday, February 22-23.
- Participate in passive fundraising for MVS by renewing your rewards program cards, turning in Box Tops, purchasing personal items on amazon.com by clicking on the logo on the school’s homepage, and using SCRIP cards. - Take some time to “unplug.” Turn off the cell phones, computers, tablets, and televisions and take time to talk, read, or play a game.
- Mark your calendar for February 27 (reenrollment packets available online) and March 13 (materials due online).
- Support the school by making your gift to The MVS Fund. Remember, participation is the key!
- Attend the Immersion Open House on Wednesday, April 10 at 7:00 p.m.
